Marketing Manager- Social, PR & Editorial
Full Time: 40 to 45 Hours per week
5 Days per week (M to F)
21 Days holiday pay including bank holiday

Job Title: PR & Marketing Manager (PR)
Duties will include building relationships with key media, press release and article writing, reporting and speech writing, preparing copy for newsletters and online services as well as daily client liaison. Essential to this role are strong communication skills from someone who will steer PR initiatives whilst enhancing current opportunities. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial with drive and enthusiasm.
Day to day responsibilities will include strategy and research into engaging content, producing content calendars and distribution across the relevant social media platforms and working with different club promoters.

Works alongside the PR and Marketing team to develop the Society’s social media strategy and ensure that our external messages are consistent across all social media channels and e-newsletters and improve the brand’s presence on social media channels overall.
Creating a social media and digital communications strategy and developing and managing an integrated communications approach using email marketing and relevant social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and other review websites.
Devises and develops integrated social media marketing communication programs to support, campaigning and other strategic or operational initiatives. (E.g. using PPC, e-mail marketing, online advertising)
Digital analyst to specify reports and tracking requirements, interpret resultant data and make recommendations (may include regular site tracking analyses, market analysis, strategies, and tactics to target and develop varied supporter groups, monitoring of competitor activity).

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement, maintain & update the social media strategies
- Plan social media campaigns in line with business goals and vision
- Develop social media content strategy in line with advertising campaigns and SEO strategy
- Manage content calendar and day-to-day activities on UK social media channels
- Manage the UK YouTube channel in line with the video strategy
- Monitor brand reputation on social media and other networking websites
- Drive brand awareness and thought leadership by amplifying content and online presence
- Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the marketing team
- Develop an advocate programmer, enabling appropriate staff to engage in dialogues
- Set up guidelines and manage troubleshooting
- Improve SEO strategy on our websites
- Create and design artwork materials for the PR & Marketing team
- Work closely with marketing to develop campaign ideas and promotions
- Work closely with the in-venue promoters and events team to design artwork
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Essential
- Experience as a PR and Marketing.
- Experience of electronic diary management.
- Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues.
- Ability to organise and plan own work.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to ensure effective communication with a wide range of contacts both internal and external to the Freedomship Group.
- Ability to assimilate large quantities of written and verbal communication quickly and produce accurate, timely minutes.
- Excellent attention to detail, including proof reading skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstration of the ability to work under sustained pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to priorities and re-priorities to achieve successful outcomes.
